At A.G. Secure Property Management Inc., we believe that knowledge is one of the most valuable tools a landlord can have. That’s why last year we launched an educational series designed to give our clients — and anyone involved in the residential rental market — direct access to professionals with skill-specific expertise.

So far, we’ve covered a wide range of important topics:

• During tax season, we invited an accountant to share insights and strategies.
• We followed this up with a lawyer who explained the importance of wills and POAs when it comes to protecting your investment properties.
• With the growing focus on legalizing second suites, we hosted a designer who specializes in helping clients create income-generating units.

This fall, we are excited to welcome Nicole Fazzari, a paralegal from De Palma and Associates, who has been representing our clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board (LLTB) for the past five years. Nicole brings a wealth of experience and will be covering key topics, including:

• Turnaround times at the LLTB for various applications.
• How the new electronic application process has improved scheduling, submissions, and file updates.
• The benefits (and sometimes funny side stories) of virtual ZOOM hearings.
• Why property managers need legal representation in the first place.
