Why We’re Bringing Back Fridge Magnets
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most effective.
When it comes to property management, clear communication with tenants is essential—especially when emergencies happen. But believe it or not, we still receive calls from tenants of properties we’ve never managed, simply because they remembered part of a name or found an old phone number.
That’s why we’ve decided to go a little “old school” and start distributing fridge magnets to all of our rental units.
What’s on the Magnet?
Each magnet is designed to keep critical information front and centre, right where you can’t miss it—on your fridge. It includes:
- Emergency and general inquiry contact information
- Rent payment details (including a reminder for e-transfer payments)
- A QR code that links directly to our online maintenance request form
Simple. Practical. Effective.
Why Magnets?
Sure, it may feel a little retro in today’s digital-first world. But a fridge magnet offers something a text message or email can’t:
- It’s always visible, no searching required
- It works for everyone (no app, no login, no Wi-Fi needed)
- And, as a bonus, it doubles as the perfect holder for your children’s artwork, grocery lists, or favourite photos
How to Get Yours
We’ll be distributing fridge magnets during our fall inspections. If you’re one of our tenants and you don’t receive one, simply stop by our office starting in November to pick one up.
Because when it comes to staying connected, sometimes the simplest tools are still the best.
