Getting Ready to Move Your Property Management Services to A.G. Secure


At A.G. Secure Property Management, we understand that change can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve designed our onboarding process to be as smooth and stress-free as possible when you decide to start or transfer your property management services to our experienced team.


It's Not Hard For Us To Take On New Clients


Our systems are built on scalable, cutting-edge technology, allowing us to quickly and efficiently implement changes. We pride ourselves on seamless communication and operational efficiency — and best of all, we do not charge an account setup fee.


What We Need to Get Started

To begin managing your property, we require some important information:

  • Management Agreement
  • Copy of insurance on the property
  • Void cheque or Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) form for deposits
  • Tenant Information
  • Contact details
  • Rent ledger
  • Any legal notices
  • Details about any existing issues
  • Property Information
  • Last smoke alarm inspection records
  • Keys for the units
  • Existing contracts for services such as cleaning, snow removal, lawn care, etc.

Additional information may be needed, but this list will get us started.


Our Initial Steps for a Smooth Transition

Once we receive the necessary information, here’s how we’ll proceed:

  • Set Up Your Property in Our Operating System
  • Create tenant files
  • Provide you with portal access for monthly statements
  • Prepare “Direction and Acknowledgement Letters”
  • If you want, we’ll draft a cover letter explaining that you, as the owner, are changing management companies. This helps reduce tenant questions.
  • Distribute rent payment and contact instructions to your tenants


What to Expect During the First Month

The first month may require some additional communication as we navigate the transition. It’s not unusual for unexpected issues (“curve balls”) to arise, so rest assured, we will stay in close contact with you to address any needs promptly.
